"Computer Systems in ASL"
Presenter: Mary Luczki

Mary Luczki will be presenting this workshop for those interested in learning hot to talk about computers in ASL. Participants will get hands-on training and various parts and functions will be described and explained solely in ASL. NOTE: There will be no voicing, however a Q and A session at the end will be provided to help clarify principles discussed. Also, this workshop is limited to 12 participants. This event is good for 4 QA units and 0.4 RID CEU's
Saturday September 27, 2008 "Interpreting for Language Arts"

This workshop will be introducing participants how to interpret vocabulary and Language Arts concepts for school aged deaf students. Participants will be exposed to how deaf students acquire language arts information and how to interpret it in the best way for that student. They will be able to get a little bit of hands on interpreting time with peer and instructor feedback in a group setting. This event is approved for 0.3 RID CEU's and 3 QA units.
Saturday October 4, 2008 "Automotive Mechanics in ASL"

Mary Luzcki will be instructing this workshop on the various parts and functions of an automobile. She will be describing and explaining everything in ASL. NOTE: There will be no voicing for this workshop. However, a Q&A session just before lunch and at the end will be provided to help clarify principles discussed. Also, this workshop is limited to 12 participants. There also will be a thirty minute lunch break, it is recommended to bring a bag lunch for this workshop. This event is approved for 0.6 RID CEU's and 6 QA units.
